This site is operated by Xconception, an independent streetwear brand based in Switzerland.

2. WHAT WE COLLECT

When you interact with our site, we collect the following data:

When you place an order

  • Name and surname
  • Shipping and billing address
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Payment information (processed securely by our payment provider, never stored on our servers)
  • Order history

When you create an account

  • Name, email, password (encrypted)
  • Saved addresses (optional)

When you sign up to our newsletter

  • Email address
  • First name (optional)

When you visit our site

  • IP address
  • Browser type and version
  • Pages visited and time spent
  • Device type (desktop, mobile, tablet)
  • Country and city (approximate, based on IP)

This last category is collected automatically through cookies and analytics tools provided by our hosting platform.

3. WHY WE COLLECT IT

We use your data only for the following purposes:

  • To process and ship your orders (we can't deliver if we don't know where to send your package)
  • To communicate with you about your order, shipping updates, and customer support
  • To send you marketing emails if you've signed up to our newsletter (and only then)
  • To improve our website and your shopping experience
  • To prevent fraud and protect our store
  • To comply with legal obligations (accounting, tax, consumer law)

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with third parties for advertising purposes without your consent.

4. WHO WE SHARE YOUR DATA WITH

To run this store, we work with the following service providers. Each one only receives the minimum data needed to do their job:

Shopify — our e-commerce platform. They host the store and process all transactions. Shopify Privacy Policy

Tapstitch — our manufacturing and fulfillment partner. They receive your shipping address, name, and phone number to produce and ship your order. They do not receive your payment information.

Payment processors (Shopify Payments, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, etc.) — they receive your payment information directly. We never see or store your full credit card number.

Shipping carriers (DHL, USPS, La Poste, etc., depending on destination) — they receive your name, address, and phone number to deliver your package.

That's it. No advertising networks, no data brokers, no third-party trackers beyond what's needed to run the store.

If we add any new service provider in the future (e.g. email marketing platform, social media pixel for ads), we'll update this page.

5. INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS

We are based in Switzerland and we ship worldwide. Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your own, including the United States (Shopify infrastructure) and other regions where our service providers operate.

We only work with providers who guarantee an adequate level of data protection, in line with Swiss FADP and EU GDPR standards.

6. HOW LONG WE KEEP YOUR DATA

  • Order data: 10 years (legal requirement for accounting and tax purposes)
  • Account data: as long as your account is active, deleted within 30 days after account closure
  • Newsletter data: until you unsubscribe (one click, in every email)
  • Analytics data: anonymized after 14 months

7. YOUR RIGHTS

If you live in the EU, UK, or Switzerland, you have the following rights under GDPR and Swiss FADP:

  • Right to access — ask us what data we have on you
  • Right to rectification — fix any incorrect data
  • Right to deletion — ask us to delete your data ("right to be forgotten")
  • Right to portability — get a copy of your data in a readable format
  • Right to object — refuse certain uses of your data
  • Right to restriction — limit how we use your data
  • Right to withdraw consent — at any time, for newsletter or any consent-based processing

To exercise any of these rights, email info@xconception.com. We respond within 30 days, usually faster.

If you feel we haven't handled your data properly, you have the right to file a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) in Switzerland, or your local data protection authority in the EU.

8. COOKIES

Our site uses cookies for the following purposes:

  • Essential cookies — keep your cart working, your session active, your preferences saved. These cannot be disabled.
  • Analytics cookies — help us understand how visitors use the site (anonymous, aggregated data only).

We do not currently use marketing or advertising cookies. If we add any in the future (e.g. for Meta Pixel or TikTok Pixel ads), we'll display a clear cookie banner where you can accept or refuse.

You can clear or block cookies anytime through your browser settings.

9. MINORS

Our store is intended for adults (18+).

If you are under 18, you can shop only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. By placing an order, you confirm that you are either over 18 or that you have parental permission to do so.

We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If we discover that we have, we delete it immediately.

10. SECURITY

We take security seriously. All transactions are encrypted via SSL. Payment data is processed exclusively by certified providers (PCI-DSS compliant). Your password is hashed and never stored in plain text.

That said, no system is 100% bulletproof. If a breach ever occurs, we will notify affected users within 72 hours, as required by law.

11. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this policy from time to time, especially when we add new tools (e.g. email marketing, ad pixels) or when laws change.

Any significant change will be communicated by email if it affects your data, or posted clearly on this page.

The date at the top reflects the last update.
